On Wednesday, September 24th, the South Shore Staffing team attended the Massachusetts Staffing Association’s annual Staffing Employee Recognition Dinner along with our nominee for Staffing Employee of the Year, Kathy Mitchell, who was accompanied by her daughter, Karen. The event was held at the beautiful Seaport Hotel overlooking the harbor on a gorgeous evening to be in the city.
After cocktail hour and a lovely dinner, the 14 nominees were announced by the Massachusetts Staffing Association’s Executive Director, Jean McCarty, and a representative from each staffing company was invited to present their nominee to the group. This dynamic new format introduced a personal aspect by showcasing how important staffing employees are to us and also brought with it laughter and some tears. Although Kathy was not chosen as the Employee of the Year, a great time was had by all with plenty of smiles and recognition to fill the evening.
We’d like to thank the MSA for hosting another terrific event and to especially thank Kathy Mitchell and ALL of our temporary employees for their hard work and contributions they make on a daily basis to South Shore Staffing and the business community. Congratulations again, Kathy, on being South Shore Staffing’s 2014 Employee of the Year!
