We are happy to announce Katharine Dias, of West Bridgewater, as South Shore Staffing’s Employee of the Month for August! Katharine was hired in May working in customer service at a local community bank in Canton and became a permanent employee there in just three short months.
In 2007 she relocated from Brazil and spent her first several years working in retail customer service before transitioning into an office environment with another local, south shore bank. Katharine was able to utilize her bilingual Portuguese skills as a teller while learning the in’s and out’s of the banking industry. After trying her hand as a personal trainer and briefly utilizing her bilingual skills again in a law office, we met Katharine this past Spring and knew she was who our client was looking for.
Katharine was a hit there from day one. She consistently received positive feedback and was very excited to accept permanent employment with the Bank. Her role is challenging and she’s able to utilize her banking, customer service and bilingual background in a position where she can to learn and grow with a local, stable company.
We were so happy that this was such an all-around great fit and it made our choice to name her as our Employee of the Month a very easy one. Thank you, Katharine, for representing us in such a great light and we wish you all the luck in your position!
