On November 6, 2019, the South Shore Staffing Team celebrated the nomination of our long-time friend, Lorraine Palm, at the annual Massachusetts Staffing Association’s Staffing Employee of the Year Dinner. The event was held at Gillette Stadium with a stunning view of the field, great fun and food along with a special presentation from Massachusetts State Representative, Jeffrey Roy. Although Lorraine didn’t win it all, she’s our Employee of the Year and we couldn’t be happier for her!
A true professional in every aspect, Lorraine has worked three assignments for us since we initially met her back in 2011 and she’s currently working for us in Weymouth with a great company that she loves. She’s a stellar example of enjoying the flexibility temporary work allows.
Shortly after meeting Lorraine, she interviewed and was hired immediately by our client and converted to a perm employee there in two short months. Unfortunately the company slowed down and she was laid off about a year later. After a few interviews, she was placed in a long-term role in Braintree where she received stellar feedback and was continuously extended by our client until she found something permanent on her own.
Luckily for us, Lorraine always stayed in touch and when we happened to run into her at a job fair in 2017, we were excited for the opportunity to work with her again. Since last summer she’s been working as the Executive Assistant to a busy manufacturing company and is a natural fit. She loves the location, the people and the flexibility she has by being a temporary employee.
As one of the most dedicated employees we’ve ever had, it’s hard not to love Lorraine’s spunky personality and selfless, driven and committed work ethic. We are very lucky to have such a fantastic person representing South Shore Staffing in all of the best possible ways! Congratulations, Lorraine, and THANK YOU!
