If you know Stoughton’s Tony Gray, you probably aren’t surprised that he’s been named South Shore Staffing’s first 2021 Employee of the Quarter. He’s hardworking, friendly, and intelligent, a trio of qualities that has made him a favorite temp employee of several of our clients. . .and a welcome sight to our offices whenever he’s near 12 Forge Pond (and that’s not only because he brings us his wife’s delicious baked treats to share!)
We’ve been lucky enough to have Tony on board since 2013. After retiring, Tony wanted to find a way to stay busy and keep his accounting skills sharp while still enjoying some down time. The solution? Tony became a South Shore Staffing temporary employee which allows him the enjoyment and stimulation of a workplace with plenty of periods of time to relax and play with his grandchildren in between assignments.

Over the many years with us, Tony has worked five temporary assignments, receiving rave reviews from our clients. In fact, two have asked him back at least once for a new assignment, and another wanted him to come back but he was unavailable at the time. (He’s learned that the beauty of working as a temp for South Shore Staffing is that you can say “no” to an assignment without fear that this will hurt your chances of being placed when the time is right for you!)
Tony himself adds:
I have been associated with South Shore Staffing since approximately 2013. They have presented me with a variety of accounting opportunities in environmental engineering, banking, and non-profit organizations. South Shore Staffing has allowed me to have a flexible work schedule but still complete projects and meet monthly accounting deadlines without any duress on my part or any negative impact to the client. They have given me assignments that have a very short commute which has allowed me to help my wife with taking care of the grandkids. Their staff is very professional, and they are always available to answer any question that I might have regarding potential assignments. South Shore Staffing provides a very positive temporary work environment.
