We typically use South Shore Staffing for temp-to-hire employees because this gives us a “trial” period to assess the new employee and determine if they are a good fit for the company. We prefer South Shore Staffing because they are very responsive, easy to work with, and they are local which is extremely convenient.  And we love the idea of hiring local people for local companies; not only is this great for the area communities, but we have had negative experiences in the past hiring people that had too long a commute. I also love working with South Shore Staffing because I have had a certain comfort level from the moment I started working with them. This really makes for a very pleasant working experience throughout the entire process.

South Shore Staffing is different from other agencies because their approach is a partnership and a collaboration to ensure that the candidate is successful. I feel that they vet candidates much more than other agencies, based on experiences we’ve had with other staffing companies, and they know the candidates’ skillsets and abilities at a much more personal level. The fact that they are local and have local candidates is a huge factor in the decision for my company to use them as a resource. The big national chains are not as personal, and I feel are not as invested in who they are representing because they don’t have that hometown connection like South Shore Staffing does with their candidates. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Greater Boston and South Shore area to use South Shore Staffing for their staffing needs.
